Hand Crafted model WWII Catalina 202 Squadron Coastal Command 1/144 Scale.
These hand made models are crafted from the original parts of the Aircraft, This particular piece is from Catalina 5a Jx242 piloted by Flt/Lt George Forbes-Lloyd RAF, who was killed in the crash at Lough An laban Enniskillen on the 20th November 1944.
This model is accompanied with a certificate booklet detailing the history of the aircraft on the day it crashed. These models are handmade, so will show minor imperfections in the overall manufacture.
NB: NB: All the raw materials used in the manufacture of these models were sourced from local private collections and not directly from the crash sites.
