Original British Issue Boxed R.M.S. Lusitania Medal.
The medal was produced as counter propaganda to show how barbaric the German nation was after they produced the same medal in bronze to celebrate the sinking of the ship. It later transpired that the ship was full of guns and ammunition for the British war effort.
The medal was produced in cast iron with a print of the R.M.S Lusitania on the lid, both box and medal are in very good condition.
