Early 20th Century Red hand of Ulster Pin Badge.
This interesting little piece came with a collection of WWI Irish militaria. We do not know the exact purpose of the badge, but it may have something to do the UVF, YCV, or generally the 36th Ulster Division. The piece seems to me made of copper/bronze with a silver finish which has worn off over the years. It has a one single pin attachment the the reverse. The badge measures 2.5cms x 1.5cms.
