WWI Patriotic Women's Red Cross Association Award 1914 - 1917 no 6859. This cross was awarded in honour to members of the red cross. 
The award is centred with an enamelled cross with the letters V .F. V. ( Vaterlandischer Frauen Verein ). The reverse is stamped 1914 -1917. and  Eisern Die Zeit. Eisern Der Wille which roughly translates to " Iron the time the will of Iron".. Fantastic award with original necklace.
