David served in the Royal Irish Rifles during WWI and was awarded his Military Medal during the Conflict in Iraq 1920. Post 1922 He was transferred to the Royal Ulster Rifles. The watch is an American made pocket watch by Waltham. The watch is working but requires a replacement cog to adjust the hands. Well worth additional research.
