Ultra Rare German State Police "Polizei Kontrolle / Checkpoint Sign"

Historical piece used around state buildings and road blocks as far as we ascertain. The sign is made from a aluminium panelling and measures 50cms x 37cms. The Polizei Kontrolle is hand applied with the two state eagles being period transfers. The sign had been attached to a pole or stand for operational display, as can be seen by the three holes located at the top of the panel. Some discolouration to base colour due to usage. overall a very important piece of the Third Reich State Police Era.
