19th Japanese Ceremonial Temple Ken "Sword"
Stunning double edge blade with highly embellished named brass embossed handle & scabbard. The blade has slight spotting, which is only very minor and measures 36cm in length. The complete ken measures 53cm from handle to pommel tip. Internal wooden sleeve is 90% complete which does cause the blade to be slightly loose when driven home. Exceptionally fine example from the mid to late 19th century piece.
