Tudor's Toughs by Ernest McCall.

A study of the Auxiliary Division RIC 1920-1922

Tudor’s Toughs
The ADRIC became known as Tudor’s Toughs as they were recruited to fight the IRA on
their terms. They were ex-officers from the British Empire but mostly from the British Isles.
This book concentrates on the reasons why they came to be formed, their operating
procedures and locations throughout Ireland.
