1970's Royal Ulster Constabulary Magnetic Vehicle Roof Identification Light Box.
Very rare surviving police light box which was detachable from it's vehicle, when required. Due to the on going conflict in Northern Ireland these were found not to be suitable for day to day policing in the North and were replaced by caged lighting systems on armoured vehicle. The photos shown of box in use are for reference only.
