1938 NSFK Cased Flight Award.

The obverse displays the NSFK insignia in the form of Icarus, topped by initials “N.S.F.K.”, circumscribed by an inscription of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS DEUTSCHLANDFLUG 1938”, the reverse with an inscription of “MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGEN WIR FÜR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND” (“IN EQUAL PACE AND STRIDE, WITH OUR FÜHRER WE FLY FOR OUR ETERNAL GERMANY”) The plaque is numbered 1952 and is in very fine condition with no finish loss. The case has slight wear with some deterioration to the silk lining at the hinge, due to age. Very fine and displayable piece from the NSFK.
