Unknown Third Reich Double Sided Banner.
This piece recently surfaced from a old collection of Third Reich Militaria. The banner has the death head on both sides of the banner with the number 24 screen printed on each corner on one side. The banner has various markings on the edges including "42", which may indicate the year of manufacture.
It would be an unofficial banner not sanctioned by the state. We have two ideas on the the purpose of the piece, one would be something to do with minefields and the other would be the 24th Panzer Division, but this would be only speculative. The piece measures 79cms x 99cms.
