WWI Patriotic Flemish Latticework Sculpture.
Exceptionally fine and well executed piece of WWI art relating to the patriotism of the people of Belgium. The piece has been produced in what looks like aluminium sheeting which has been worked by a very competent hand. The sculpture reads "La Belgique l'union Fait La Force" which roughly translates to "Belgium Unity in Strength". Due to the fine workmanship we have attached the sculpture to a backing board to preserve the piece. This can be easily removed if required. The item measures 21.5cms x 28cms.
