WWI Royal Flying Corps Issued Short Leather Aviation Coat 1913 Pattern.
One of the rarest aviation jackets available and only in service for two years according to research. This piece is not a private purchase item as many of the early aviation uniforms were. The official RFC stamps are visible on the internal lining. The jacket has has a post war modification to the breast with a zip being applied instead of the normal button configuration. Stubs have also been applied to the shoulder area. Under closer inspection we feel this can be reversed if required. This is a POA only due to the rarity and importance of the artefact.
