Dr Lingens was the Legal Adviser to the Wertheim family of Berlin, World Renowned Jewish Department Store and Property Owners.
When the Jewish Racial Laws Power Act was implemented, the control of the Estate was transferred to Dr Emil Georg Von Stauss 'President of the Reichstag'. Dr Lingens was involved in selling off the Estate at a knock-down price.
The Reich Chancellery was built on land acquired from the Wertheim Estate.
The passport has suffered some water damage and some pages are loose but all are intact. Spine has also been repaired.
Covers period 1937-39. Contains official stamps from Dr Lingens journeys around Europe.
