Imperial German Pilots Qualification Badge.
Well executed war production in brass with a silver wash and attributed to the famous Berlin manufacturer "C.E. Juncker". The award has some wear with two small holes incorporated on top of the crown and below the ribbon on bottom. This would indicate that the award was worn during aerial combat as this would be attached via thread to the pilots tunic for extra security. Very scarce original historical piece.
