91st Argyllshire Highlanders Victorian Officer's shoulder belt plate circa 1864-81.
The piece is produced in silver with a brass backing plate. High quality enamel has been applied to the crown and the thistles. We have a small loss of enamels on the crown and a minor rub the the cross at 5 o'clock. Stunning piece of Scottish military history.
NB; The plate has had a period amendment to the reverse fittings, please see scans provided.
