Early SS / SA Standard Bearer's Gorget. This type of gorget was introduced in 1927 for the NSDAP flag bearers. The gorget has minor wear only to the highlights around the roundel that incorporates the eagle and germanic swastika. The base chrome plate is sound with slight imperfections due to age. The neck chain has dulled due to many years of handling, with the cloth covering on the reverse being sound with no damage.
I have uploaded a picture to show the gorget in wear. This was the famous blood flag bearer "Jakob Grimminger" who died in Munich in 1969.
