German Cross In Gold by Steinhauer & Luck of Ludenscheid
The cross is of superb quality and unmarked, believed to be made up of wartime parts and assembled post war. The hollow rivets on the reverse are secured neatly on the reverse plate compared to later examples. The sunburst has light wear with some discoloration to the silvered back plate. Swastika is in excellent condition with only light wear. Overall a stunning piece at a fraction of the wartime production examples.
