1914 Queen Mary Christmas Tin with Belfast Connection.


This lot consists of a well used WWI Christmas tin with an interesting selection of family portraits from the Belfast area. Produced by the Mercers Bros of Ann Street in the centre of Belfast. The portraits seem to be from the same period around the start of hostilities in 1914, apart from one naval piece which is later. The tin has some minor dents and discoloration due to storage. Overall a very interesting lot with local interest.
