WWII B17 "Flying Fortress" Fuselage Antenna.
Interesting and iconic piece of aviation history. The antenna is made with a wooden core with a copper metal wrap, which is still covered in the original military paint finish. The wrap has started to deteriorate on one side due to lying in moist ground. The antenna measures 79cms long, including connection plug located on the base. The location of the piece in situ, Top of the fuselage just in front of the rear tail.
