1856 Pattern British Pioneer Sidearm.
Good example of a scarce sidearm. The piece is regimentally marked to the 2nd Royal Fusiliers 6th Battalion. Scabbard is in very good condition with leather wrap still intact. Blade measures 57cms with 38cms of sawback blade. The blade has some discolouration due to moisture exposure but is still sound and may benefit from a clean. Overall a very desirable piece.
