Produced in bakalite, the model measures 31cms x 22cms approx The raised rim is inscribed "XI Olympiade 1936 Reichssportfeld Berlin". The hollow reverse is embossed with details of the modeller, manufacturer and distributor :- "Entwurf und künstlerische ooberleitung des reichssportfeldes Reg.Baumeister 8.D.Werner March Berlin Mitarbeiter Walter March Modell: Oskar Reich Berlin W35 Kurfürstenstr 148 Ausführung: Presswerk d.SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A-G Berlin Alleinvertrieb: Sport-Lüder Berlin Spandau Potsdamerstr.48" The model complete with original cardboard issue box, which has normal wear but the main catch is missing on the front of the piece.
